Jamie has been in the insurance business in Arizona since 1977. She is currently an owner of Low & Johnson, Inc., which she formed in 1999. She started her career with St. Paul Insurance Companies as an underwriter and manager in the Commercial Property & Casualty and Medical Professional divisions. In 1990 she joined Willis-Corroon Corporation of Arizona , an international insurance brokerage firm, as Vice-President of marketing and thereafter worked as a commercial account executive. Jamie has worked with clients of all sizes to help them design and secure the insurance program that best represents their exposures. She has experience with alternative risk solutions and has put together fronting and reinsurance programs for captive insurers.

Jamie currently sits on the Captive Insurance Board for Honda North America. She owned Captive Insurance Managers of Phoenix, LLC, a captive management firm and sold that company to USA Risk Services in 2006. Jamie is past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Arizona and the Arizona Captive Managers Association. She is certified as a Mediator by the Institute of Conflict Management , LLC out of Santa Monica , CA . She holds a Bachelors degree in Management. Jamie is a counselor for the Arizona chapter of SCORE, which is a volunteer organization that counsels people on opening their own small businesses.

Brenda began her insurance career with St. Paul Insurance Company in Phoenix in 1978. She joined the independent insurance agency force in 1980 and worked with several brokers and agencies providing commercial lines customer service, sales, and automation systems management.

In 1999, Brenda and Jamie formed Low & Johnson, Inc. Brenda's primary focus in the agency is risk management, administration, and systems management.

Brenda is the past chairperson of the Far West Technical Conference, and Technical Conference Committee for the Independent Agents and Brokers Association of Arizona. She received the AAMGA Association Achievement Award in 2000. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM).

Deborah joined Low & Johnson in February of 2011, she brings with her 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She achieved her CIC in 2006, her CISR in 2004 and is currently working towards her ARM. Jodie joined Low & Johnson in 2010. She has over 25 years experience in the business insurance field. Prior to joining Low & Johnson she worked with Willis, an international brokerage firm and several other insurance firms. Jodie has a degree in Environmental Biology. Jodie has an excellent relationship with our insurance markets and works with Low & Johnson clients to help them find the best carrier for their insurance needs.

Mr. Low co-founded the law firm of Low & Cohen, PLLC in September of 2009. His practice principally includes representation of insurers, insurance associations and institutions before the Arizona Legislature, the Arizona Department of Insurance, and other governmental agencies and offices both inside and outside the state of Arizona. His practice also includes a wide range of insurance-related representation, including litigation consulting, reinsurance matters, arbitrations, and insurance corporate and regulatory matters involving the formation, merger and acquisition of insurers, including captive insurers. He has testified as an expert witness in over 80 matters in state and federal court involving insurance coverage, claims and bad faith issues.

Mr. Low has been a guest speaker before various groups and organizations on a wide range of insurance issues. Mr. Low has authored several articles covering topics such as the formation of offshore reinsurers, health care risk transfer mechanisms and workers' compensation issues. He has also served as an adjunct professor of law at the Arizona State University College of Law teaching a third year course on insurance law. He is a registered lobbyist for the Arizona Captive Insurance Association and has participated in the formation of numerous Arizona and offshore captives. Prior to the formation of the Firm, Mr. Low enjoyed a lengthy tenure in public service. Most notably, he served in the capacity of Director of the Arizona Department of Insurance (1980-1984), as Director of the Arizona Department of Administration (1984-1985), as Chairman of the Governor's Cabinet and Chairman of the Governor's Regulatory Review Council. Mr. Low was a partner with the Phoenix law firm of Jones, Skelton & Hochuli (1985-1990). Thereafter, he was a founding shareholder in the Firm of Low & Childers (1990 - 2009). Currently, Mr. Low is a Managing Partner of Low & Cohen.

Mr. Low is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Maricopa County Bar Association. He is listed in the Reinsurance Arbitrators Directory and is a member of the Federation of Regulatory Counsel. Mr. Low is licensed as a property and casualty insurance producer by the Arizona Department of Insurance and has received his Mediation Certification from the Institute for Conflict Management in Santa Monica, CA.

Ceara Corbidge joined Low & Johnson as an intern in June of 2009. She completed the Ford Insurance School and was issued an Arizona Insurance License to sell Property and Casualty insurance in September of 2009. Since receiving her license she has been working for Low & Johnson with the focus of improving the networking and technological capabilities of the company.
